1. I called and discussed the proposed shipment with Navis; 2. Based on the discussion and on photos and dimensions of the item I wanted to ship, Navis gave me a preliminary estimate of cost; 3. Based on the above, I signed the papers authorizing the shipment; 4. Navis promptly scheduled a pick-up of the item, were there at the scheduled time and took the item to their facility for packing; 5. After packing, Navis scheduled shipping and shipped the item; 6. The item arrived as scheduled at a midwest destination without damage.; 8. The item shippped was an heirloom chest of moderate size and weight; 9. These guys need more advertising. I had no idea they existed before my research minded dauughter tracked them down for me; 10. I recommend NAVIS and would use them again without reservation.

We purchased several antique items in an online phonograph auction. The auction house does not offer in-house shipping. This meant that I needed the items picked up from the auction, packaged to survive the journey & finally shipped from Michigan to South Florida. The entire transaction was amazingly done. The shipping box was very sturdy & stapled closed, the amount of cushioning & bubble wrap was impressive! Nothing was moving around. A huge Thank You to Ross & Mary at Navis in Kentwood, Michigan. Terrific job. All artwork and lamps were delivered perfectly, and they were finely wrapped and secured before they were unpacked. The agent in Florida (PAK MAIL) was wonderful, kept me well informed before they made an appointment for the delivery of the artwork . They unpacked everything thoroughly and carefully in my apartment. Also,the workers in New York at the pick up point were very dedicated, and wonderful in preparing everything for shipment to the packing facility for airshipping to Florida. Will definitely arrange with NAVIS for future shipping of furniture and artwork.
