For weekend fun in Jacksonville, Florida, be sure to attend the Riverside Arts Market every Saturday from March-December. From 10am-4pm, arts of all forms can be found.
There is live entertainment including singers, dancers, jugglers, musicians, and balloon artists. Pertaining to tangible art, there are over 100 artists that create items such as paintings, toys, metal art, apparel, purses, jewelry, glass, and wood.
In addition, some Saturdays hold special events. On August 25, the Arf Barket will take place, which is an annual dog celebration. There will be a parade and beauty contest for “man’s best friend” as well.
