With Earth Day quickly approaching, ecological ways of living are an especially large area of attention. In Anaheim, CA, The MUZEO focuses on a fun way to teach our youth the importance of being kind to the environment.

On April 21, 2012, the third annual MUZEO TrashARTist Challenge takes place. This event is open to students in Orange County ranging from grades 3-12. The objective is for students to reuse trash in order to create a piece of art. Experiencing the different uses of recycled materials allows students to see the benefits of eco-friendly living.

The event will take place in downtown Anaheim from 11am-4pm. In addition to the trash art displays, there will be food trucks, music, craft workshops, sustainability business booths, as well as other entertainment. Winners will be announced at the Main Stage on the day of the event. Prizes for the teachers and the entire class include tickets to Disneyland, The MUZEO, and/or Ultra-Star Cinemas.

For students in Orange County interested in the environment and using their creativity, this event is a prime opportunity to showcase those efforts. Once completed, trust Navis to safely transport your recycled and sustainable art piece to The MUZEO TrashARTist Challenge!
