Spend Some Time With the Muppets © Near Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Now showing at the Young At Art Children's Museum near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is the “Art of Jim Henson Featuring the Muppets ©”. You and your family will have the opportunity to see the art Jim Henson used to create Elmo © and then use your own imaginations to design your very own puppets. You can also check out art masterpieces with Sherlock Hemlock © and star in a puppet show like Prairie Dawn ©. “Items are on loan from The Jim Henson Family Collection, courtesy of the Jim Henson Legacy.”

And next weekend, Saturday, September 24th, from 11am-3pm be a part of Jim Henson’s 75th Birthday Celebration at the museum! There will be a performance and workshop by “Simply Puppets”, Muppets © inspired face painting and art activities, and balloon twisting. The first 100 kids to arrive dressed in Muppets © attire will receive a free gift and Whole Foods Market will be on-site providing delicious and nutritious refreshments for your family.

Admission to the museum is $8 or free for members. The Muppets © exhibit will be on display at the museum through October 2nd, so don’t miss this family fun event!
