Next weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio, celebrate Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati USA on September 16th, 17th & 18th. This festival is the largest Oktoberfest in the United States and the second largest in the world. More than half a million people will fill a six-block area of Fifth Street to eat, drink, and listen to polka music. Oktoberfest Zinzinnati was first held in 1976 and now has the world’s largest chicken dance!

The Oktoberfest “Sneak Peak” will be held Friday, September 16th from noon to midnight on Fountain Square and then the festival will kick into full swing on Saturday from noon to midnight and Sunday from noon until 9pm.

Don’t miss the annual John Morrell Running of the Wieners race on Friday. This is the fifth year for the dachshund races and has quickly become a fan favorite. The doggies race in hot dog bun costumes, which the $20 registration fee includes - along with a t-shit for the owner as well!

This Oktoberfest celebration will feature seven stages with live German music and over 30 vendors serving almost 200 dishes. Not to mention, there will be 800 barrels of beer to be drank, so come thirsty!
