My one of a kind painting commissioned by me from a personal friend/famous artist was delayed in delivery and when a package from Navis arrived, it was NOT my package, but instead, a phrased photo (whose glass phrase was incidentally shatteres) I was told that someone in Navis has put the wrong packing slip on my painting package and that it was now in Arizona instead if Los Angeles. It took over the course of my entire Passover holiday - one where I was hoping to display my new painting - for navis to finally get someone to retrieve the enormous photograph that I had been storing for them in my living room - again, for the duration of my holiday when I was hosting and celebrating with dozens of guests. I tried to reach your manager at least 5 times, but he never returned my messages. When UPS lost the painting, I called an employee again and refused to leave the phone until being connected your manager. He told me that the final delay was not navis’s problem because it was UPS’s doin and that I could take it up with them. He said he could give me refund of $100 (out of $600 paid) due to the months of delay, but anything more would be impossible. I told him that was not acceptable and while I wanted full reimbursement, I would accept half, or $300. He would not move past a $120 reimbursement because he claimed that more would leave Navi with no profit. He was nasty and unprofessional during the entirety of my conversation with him. He called me aggressive and rude. My husband, friends and I have used shippers nationally and internally and have never experienced such unprofessional handling of art and of such nasty employees.
